SELIMIR RADULOVIĆ - Director of the Matica Srpska Library

Selimir Radulović was born in Cetinje in 1953.
He published:
Six books of poetry: Poslednji dani (The Last Days) (City Library "Žarko Zrenjanin", Zrenjanin, 1986); San o praznini (A Dream about the Void) (Literary Association of Novi Sad,1993); U sjenku ulazim, oče (The Shadow I Enter, Father) (Vreme knjige, Belgrade, 1995); О tajni rizničara svih suza (About the Secret of the Treasurers of All Tears) (Narodna knjiga, Belgrade, 2005); Snovi svetog putnika (Dreams of the Holy Traveller) (Prometej, Novi Sad, 2009); Pod kišom suza s Patmosa (Under a Shower of Tears from Patmos) (SKZ, Belgrade, 2012);

He authored five anthologies/chrestomathies: Panorama savremenog pesništva u Vojvodini (Panorama of Contemporary Poetry in Vojvodina) (1985); Smetnje na vezama (Connection problems) (1988); Antologija savremenog pesništva u Vojvodini (Anthology of Contemporary Poetry in Vojvodina) (1990); Anthology of Bećković (2009); Zlatni vek srpskog pesništva, 1910-2010 (The Golden Age of Serbian Poetry, 1910-2010) (2010) and books of literary criticism essays Povoj i članci (Linkers and Articles) (1987).

For his literary work he has received the November Charter of the City of Novi Sad (Novembarska povelja Novog Sada), Cultural Sparkle Award (Iskra kulture), Stamp of the Town of Sremski Karlovci (Pečat varoši sremskokarlovačke), Kočić's Quill Award (Kočićevo pero), the award of the Spring Fair in Banjaluka 2008, Teodor Pavlović Award in 2012, Vuk Karadžić Award, Miodrag Đukić Award and Simo Matavulj Award in 2013.

From 1990 to 1992 he was the Secretary of the Provincial Department of Culture.
From 1992 to 1997 he was a Director of the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad. At that time he started INFANT, the International Festival of Alternative and New Theatre, which soon became one of the most prestigious festivals in this part of Europe. During his mandate, the Novi Sad Summer Festival was started, within which a number of theatrical productions and co-productions with other similar festivals and our prominent theatre houses were realized.
From 1997 to 2000 he was a President of the Association of Writers of Vojvodina.
From 2001 to 2012 he was the Editor-in-Chief in the Orfeus publishing house. In this period Orfeus published about 300 titles and developed a reputation of being one of the most distinguished publishing houses in the Province.
From 2012 to 2014 he was a Director of Sterijino Pozorje Theatre Festival.
Now, he is a Director of the Matica Srpska Library.
Selimir Radulović, a father of four, lives in Novi Sad, where he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy (Department of Literature).
